Well, first things first: what do you NOT want to do?

I don't want to clean toilets, do anything that would draw too much attention to us, and probably nothing to deal with seafood.

Fair enough. So office jobs like a secretary or administrative assistant could be a good option. You could be out and talk to people and it doesn't involve any cleaning duties.

If you want to do something like a cute little coffee shop, or retail there does run a risk of toilet cleaning, but it's not a guarantee.

I could handle that, a little bit. As long that's not what I'm doing all day long. A coffee shop sounds better than an office. Meeting new people. Maybe more freedom to get fresh air. Free coffee.

Also, I would like to avoid accidentally assisting in ending the world, but when we still don't know how that happens, harder to avoid./tt>

Yeah, I think we tend to stumble into that whether we want to or not.

Yeah, we do. For once, I'd like to be ahead of trouble.

Let me do it. Since I actually can go. Just wouldn't have thought of that on my own.

What are you going to do while we're here?

Honestly? I don't know yet. I could go try and be an actor again, but ... I'm not sure if it's what I really want.

[Maybe she shouldn't keep falling back on her old expectations of herself. She did like acting, but does she want it to be her real job again? To be determined.]

I need to think on it for a bit.

Because, yeah, it's the same for me, too. I don't really know what I want to do, what I want to focus on. But I'll figure it out.

Maybe I could find a salon to work in to fill the time. That's what I was doing back in the sixties.
