A one stop shop for all your plotting/touch base needs! A couple of starting thoughts:

• The best format for this might be a closed long with no tag order to keep things moving, as long as that works for everyone? We can also break out certain portions of the adventure if some of us are more into one aspect than others.

• What kinds of thoughts or feelings do we want shared? Would it make more sense to set that portion up as a space for one-on-one threads to make the most of those CR building moments?

• How successful do we want them to be? Do we want to go for the reward?

I figure we can use this to compile our questions/plan and take this over to Ruxi when we're all ready. Threadjack/comment/track as needed!

I think the other beat that I'm most interested for Emilia/on my end is the one about them becoming alert/paranoid they're secretly trying to be burned (for reasons you well know). Maybe someone pulling her off an NPC or something lmao.

If you like, I'm down to have Emilia turn on Wrathion -- he might just conjure flame instead of using a torch (potentially not immediately, but maybe later I can have him lose his torch or sth so it's a surprise in some way). It might give them something to talk about later after all, once they're free!

Ooh, yes! I think that could be very interesting, and it's something they could touch base on later/give us something meaty for them to talk about. They still don't really know the extent of what the other can do, or what the other even is.

They don't! And like, Wrathion is capable of defending himself non-lethally if you want to have her persistently try to do him damage for the affront. He can cast a spell that like, fills a room with illusory duplicates of himself to make it harder to hit the real him, for example. So I don't mind her trying until someone talks her down!

(He'd very much not want to hurt her, obviously).

I'm good with playing it by ear and seeing how it goes! I don't think it'll need anything too extreme, as she's been training with Wrath to fight off mental attacks like this one, but I also want to give you room to have Wrathion show any tricks you'd like him to. She would definitely pull back, though!

I had to hiatus for April and I apologize profusely for dropping the ball on this. Ruxi worked with me and Wrath's mun to explain their absence, however, and it does involve volcano things if you are interested in that development.

Just saw the network post -- is the concept that Emilia and Wrath went back in after the first expedition?

yes'm! after a certain point it was way too hot to keep going in the first time around, but because wrath is the devil they were able to go deeper and deeper the second time, got lost for a bit, rerouted, etc.

Yes, that's the concept! I unfortunately also had to hiatus due to an emergency situation - my neighbor accidentally discharged their gun into my room while I was in it so I had to do a last minute move since I no longer felt safe living there, and it's taken the whole month to figure out what to do, where to go, and deal with the aftermath of all that.

But basically, Ruxi gave us this to explain their absence - they went back in after the original group had explored and went deeper/spent more time in there given Wrath being Wrath.

LMAO YES THAT MIGHT BE GOOD. Wrathion would intend to like conjure flame and Wrath could always pull her back before she reciprocated in kind and it got all unwieldy. You know. >>"

YESSSS oooh maybe we can tie it into their training a bit where Wrath could like remind her to use the mental shields/stuff they've been working on together. So he holds her back, but she's able to like shove away some of that paranoia ultimately to at least like gather herself :eyes:

y e s i was just thinking that. i was also thinking it'd be kind of neat if they don't actually arrive together lmao. like maybe wrath arrives with allison instead (while emilia with dany and potentially wrathion) because by now maybe some of her curse has kicked in and she is Staying Away.
